Over 3 months of preparations and at last the event was finally under way. Our members joined with the ganders of the Honorable Order of The Blue Goose International to have some fun for the benefit of our charities, including Hilliard House whose board and staff were also present. All three organizations made major contributions to the success of the evening.We were also particularly pleased to welcome District Governor Jayne Sullivan and District Governor Elect Jim Bynum.

A team of Flatiron volunteers arrived at Copán Ruinas, Honduras, to execute the Flatiron Construction - RC Newport News Virginia - RC Bon Air Virginia Suspension Bridge in the village of Agua Caliente. This team was hosted by Helmy Giacoman, the mayor of the historic town of Copán Ruinas. |
